Gelok laminates provide system flexibility. Typically, they are a composite polyacrylate laminate structure – a superabsorbent polymer base between two cellulose sheets. The degree of absorbency is determined by the amount of polymer used in the core, while the substrate performance characteristics can be varied by the use of different materials. Other materials may be added to the core to provide additional product performance characteristics.
With the addition of absorbents, specialty media or mineral products, Gelok can custom engineer a composite to solve your specific end product absorbency needs.
